salam

i heard in 1926 there was a conference in cairo where muslim leaders and scholars gathered to discuss how to restore the khilfah but it was sabotaged by the ale saud. does anyone know the details of this conference?

who attended? what was discussed? what was the outcome?

i have the book thats where i learn about the conference but wanted more details on exactly what happend. you are right he is on the money on this issue ( not really a fan of his as he is open bashar al kalb supporter and even calls the russians awlia lol) . he mentiones that one of the condition of bein a khilafah is control of the hijaz. a deal was struck that ale saud will control hijaz but will never be allowed to declare themselves as khulafaa and by doing so no other person out of arabia can claim to be khilfah either as they dont have control of hijaz.

is this a legit condition? is there any sort of agreement as to what are the conditions for anyone to be a khilfah? in marwadis book al ahkaam ul sultaniya he doesnt mention anything about being control of hijaz but does say you have to be quraishi
