"Closer to the Ka'bah"

Yet the advert pic shows the person Enjoying the "closeness" from 70 floors high up in the sky.

Same happens during Ramadhan and for Hajj.

There's service for the Ummah with covering expenses and compensation for time (wage). And then there's commercialisation like this for max profits. The adverts and photos therein have just gone to new heights.

"Choose your apartment at #..... and enjoy a unique spiritual experience in #Makkah"

Unique experience indeed, complete absence of spirit

La Hawla Wala Quwwata illah Billah.

I remember Shaykh Humayun Hanif Naqshbandi Mujjadidi (db) talking about this issue of the commercialisation of Hajj in one of his Urdu Bayaans. "Hajj Jo zindagi Badal Day"

Shaykh Humayun Hanif (db), is pretty unique, I have been impressed with his discourses. Quite refreshing to find a Shaykh born and raised in Pakistan able to precisely address the challenges facing the Muslims in the Modern world. Perhaps its to do with the fact that he is a jet setting business man with a wide range of worldly experience, who took the spiritual path, in his mid twenties. This along with more then two decades spent in the company of the eminent Amazing Buzurg Shaykh Shamsur Rahman Abbasi (DB) have molded him in to a very unique teacher and guide. The Grand Shaykh of this silsilah was the highly acclaimed and renowned Shaykh Hazrat Abdul Ghafoor Abbasi Madni (DB) about him it is said that his heart even after his death could be heard beating rhythmically with the sound of "Allah, Allah, Allah" only after checking the pulse on his arm was the Doctor able to certify that Hazrat Abdul Ghafoor Abbasi (RA) had in fact passed away.

The Shajarah (spiritual chain) of this silsilah just like that of Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmed (db), leads right back to the Great saint Hazrat Fazal Ali Qureshi (RA).
