My personal impression is that this place is worse than Islamic State in violence.
For Muslims it is worse than Myanmar.
Here is a Guardian report on the situation.
As usual this is a western view and the reality will be much removed from it.
To understand what is happening there will be necessary to make up your mind about current situation of Muslims around the world.

For months I have been trying to gather courage to read and view videos of the atrocities committed by the Christian hordes on Muslims in CAR but my will power is not supporting me.

I am not going to view these images. You too be warned - you may not go through these images.

Whenever some one tries to overwhelm you using words like terrorism, ISIS then ask a counter question about the Central African Republic.

Almost all 436 mosques in Central African Republic have been destroyed

Muslims being 'erased' from Central African Republic

Amnesty International says Muslims living in rural areas especially targeted as militias undertake "ethnic cleansing".

The sheer chill of this topic is overwhelming ya akhi.
May be most of the people do not have an idea of this but those who know about it will be helpless in recording the horror.

central African republic has never been stable since the genocide in Rwanda, in fact since the genocide effecting all surrounding and rest of Africa where the guilty and innocent from Rwanda fled.

it's like a knock on effect, governments sit back and watch their own people suffer whilst living off aid sent in to help those suffering. Aid and money very rarely if at all reaching those that need it the most.

Africa is an easy target because of corupt government and poverty....as usual Islam is an excuse. ethnic cleansing? religious cleansing? outside forces have always had a part to play.

justice lies with Allah, Allah knows best.

The Most Numbing Video

There was a huge pit, rectangular in shape. Must have been seven feet in width, longer in length. More than five feet in depth.
The freshly dug earth was lying around all four directions. They had a black man lying parallel to the pit - widthwise. Three people, again black, had him pinned down. One had his legs firmly held, another one was holding his hands and the third one was holding the head to the earth. These grips were more or less contingency holdings otherwise the pinned down man was in a state of voluntary submission. Then there was this fourth man with the machette. He made those clumsy moves on the neck of the victim. There was slight commotion in the body and the four man held him only a few seconds and then pushed him into the pit. On falling into the pit you saw several other bodies already lying in the pit. The latest man became very still - as if trying to break hold of the jeans he was wearing and the grip of the three man just moments ago - all in vain for he was already nearly decapitated. And then there was another fact that came to the fore. Just a few steps away a row of men sat on the ground. The man at the head of the row got up with resignation. He was wearing the thob. That is when one realises that the queue consists of Muslims. The man in thob come to the place where a man was butchered a few moments ago. He lies down in the same pose with complete submission and the scene repeats. I reran the video to check whether it shows what I thought and then the realization set in. Yes, it is what it looks. I can not watch it again. The video can only be from the Central African Republic. We do not know of such levels of cruelties from anywhere else. I have not seen any discussion of such a video on the net. Thankfully they are not allowing the ISIS videos on the net but above video is a thing apart. Once a friend said after seeing a video of Aghori Sadhus of Bengal that he wished he had not seen it. I wish the same about this one for me. It is clear that these were CAR Christians methodically butchering Muslims there. If there were Christian populations in East Timor or South Sudan the west quickly got its act together and created new countries. They are simply not talking about above atrocities. They are very quick to sweep the Guantanamo, Bagram and Abu Gharaib atrocities under the carpet. CAR cruelties are beyond ISIS level. ISIS is brutalizing hapless people while in CAR people have been reduced into that level of submission that they are willingly submitting themselves for being butchered.

Salam

Professor I would advise against from watching these type of vids, there are websites out there who perhaps still specialise in this sort of thing like 'live leak, etc, I believe it's called. Only downside is it can mentally and perhaps spiritually scar you for a little while, I know of many brothers who complained off not being able to sleep for days after watching such vids.

Yes it's a pity to see that the world is quiet, tbh world would never care till its not their own, been a while now since Muslim life is worth nothing and sadly were to blame for it, each one of us has contributed to the downfall of the Ummah in a direct/indirect manner and largely through our sins, truth is till we we ourselves and Muslim states won't care for the Muslims around the globe then frankly speaking no one else will either.

Ajeeb times of fitnah nonetheless and may Allah help the Muslims worldwide
