The former head of Israel's intelligence agency, Mossad, defends the country's treatment of al-Nusra Front fighters on the Syrian border.

In this web extra, Efraim Halevy tells Mehdi Hasan that he is not concerned that Israel had treated fighters in Syria from al-Nusra Front who some say is al-Qaeda's Syrian branch.

"It's always useful […] to deal with your enemies in a humane way," Halevy says.

When pressed on whether he believed the assistance was purely humanitarian Halevy responds, "I didn't say there's no tactical [consideration]. I said the main consideration, the immediate consideration is humane."

Halevy also says he would not support the treatment of wounded Hezbollah fighters because Israel had been targeted by Hezbollah, but "not specifically targeted by al-Qaeda"

Never said he was an agent.(Only that his judgement in making deals, with Munafiq rulers such as MBS and MBZ is highly dubious). Anything these Munafiq rulers advocate to Sharaa will be for the benefit of their Zionists masters and not for Syria. Only a few days ago it was revealed Sharaa was in the final stages of making a deal of giving control of Syrian seaports to U.A.E. that's effectively giving Israel control.

The Americans have told him to do a crackdown on Palestinians leaders based in Syria, and the foreign Mujahedeen that fought for Syria against Assad. And get rid of all chemical weapons. Or weapons that could represent a threat to Israel. In exchange for lifting of sanctions and allowing foreign investment and reconstruction.

And weeks later they have then decided to give Israel the go ahead to attack, and destroy Syria. This has been a pattern of the Americans, they with Israel violated every single deal and are supported by the Gulf rulers in doing so.

We are not looking at minor battles, the rules of the game have changed. Israel wants to destroy Syria and occupy large swathes of its lands. That is something their minister's and analysts have made clear.
Syria will not be allowed to build up it's military power and indeed an arms embargo will most likely be imposed.

Time will tell but Sharaa has two choices get destroyed whilst
doing nothing for fear that any retaliation will result in severe Israeli reprisals.

Or engage in a war of attrition like the resistance have been doing in GAZA.

Both paths will lead to destruction, but at least one will give Israel a bloody nose, and if that pain for Israel becomes unbearable. They might withdraw and pursue a less hostile course.

Furthermore I think Sharaa most likely will be assassinated by the Zionists.

I said months ago that war with Israel was imminent. Not because I’m hungry for war. But as an American I understand Israel’s tricks very well. They are looking to expand. And, like gangsters, they will keep taking more & more unless you show them something.

And yes I get it, Syria has suffered tremendously in the last 14 years. And one could say any deal that brings respite to the people and reconstruction of Syria would be good.

But my argument is that Israel, America, and their allies have no interest in giving Syria respite. But see it as an opportune time to completely destroy Syria and prevent it from, forever representing a threat in decades to come.

All their negotiations are an act of tactical deception.

Is wearing suits haram in Islam?

Secondly he had broken his ties with al qaeda in 2016. And to this day they still have serious disagreements to the extent that ISIS have called him an apostate. Do you think people should still be concerned about his past affiliations?

Suits are not haram. No one said they were.
In the UK if a Muslim who wears normal everyday British clothes and then suddenly gives them up amd starts to wear Islamic attire and grows a beard, the citizens of UK are encouraged to report that person lest he has been radicalised. The reverse in this case? who knows. Only Allah knows best.

At the same time, it's non sense to believe that a person has been radicalised just because he decided to start practicing a bit more.

We remain optimistic.

Also, some interesting points

⚡️Alternative Syrian media:

Under the sponsorship of Al-Sharaa’s government, Sunni Muslims in Greater Syria are being displaced and subjected to demographic change in Suwayda, while the province is left under “Zionist” supervision.

Is that really ethnic cleansing? It is being said that they will be allowed to return after complete ceasefire.

Ahmad al-Dalati, the province’s internal security chief, confirmed that the agreement followed intensive efforts by the Interior Ministry and “aims to facilitate the departure of civilians affected by the current conditions, ensuring their safety until the situation allows for a secure return to their homes.”

He added: “We are fully committed to securing the exit of all civilians needing to leave Suwaida.”

“We will also allow entry for those wishing to return, as part of our ongoing efforts to restore stability and safety in the province.”

It's concerning that they are calling it "the state of Israel" in their official statements.

They said the same thing on numerous other occasions.
From the 1948 onwards.
In 1967 when the Israelis captured the Golan heights, the Sunnis where given the option to leave, whilst the druze remained. With a promise of return. x.com/warfareanalysis/status/1947276530616250522
That didn't happen.

The land and homes they are leaving will be quickly occupied so the chances of them being able to return are slim and none.

Sharaa is stuck between a rock and a hard place.
This is all happening with no doubt in my mind with the cooperation of the Munafiq rulers of the Gulf.

Warfare Analysis
@warfareanalysis

⚡️Professor of Political Science Muhammad Al-Shinquiti:

If Ahmad Al-Sharaa were ready to normalize with Israel or give up the Golan, they would have cooperated with him against the Druze and against the SDF, and opened to him the treasuries of the West and the Arabs, in action, not just words.

But because he maneuvers against any normalization and refuses to concede Syrian land, they have waged an existential war of attrition against him, mixed with deceptive American temptation and seduction.
