Jzk, I understand where your'e coming from and don't reject everything you've posted fully.
The Point is:
When can a layperson EVER be qualified to decide that it's okay for him to act on the other school's opinion?, be it a majority or minority view? When and how can he act on another schools opinion without knowing every aspect covered in his own school.
Who goes to this length? Did you go through every opinion and every Hadith for combining Salah as a Hanafi before deciding that you can combine? (I'm assuming you are a Hanafi - non Deobandi)
You cannot tell me that you have sutdied every narration and every Hadith of a particular school (or even a Masaail) to deduce that the Hanafi or Shafi or Maliki or Hanbali opinion on a matter is flawed. This work can only be done by scholars of high calibre, not internet enthusiasts, MP3 listeners, YouTubers or self educated, self declared mujtahids. It's simply not possible. Where and who gave this Ijazah to you?
Had they gone through this whole process, they would become scholars in thier own right.
