According to one of his students, Hazrat Maulana Yunus Patel RA finished Magrib salah, prayed his 2 rakat of Sunnah, and then told his students, "Let's move back a bit because people are making tawaaf." While he was walking back away from the Kabah, he felt sharp pain in his chest. His students noticed his discomfort and pain and immediately brought him a chair. Hazrat Maulana Yunus Patel RA sat down on the chair, facing the Kabah, and began making Dua. He then recited the Kalimah while looking towards the Kabah, and then collapsed. Died of a heart attack.

The tongue

"The tongue is a weapon of mass destruction or good construction." Shaykh Yunus Patel [R.A]

source: www.haqislam.org

We should use our speech in useful ways; not to speak but goodness. For example, if we are in a meeting or a gathering and want to speak with people, or any discussion comes up then we should first think what we want to say and choose which words to use. If we can offer useful counsel to people or offer advice, we should speak in such a way to make others want to listen. Hence your words will be acceptable to Allah and the people because your speech is beneficial in guiding towards goodness or reconciling people, or teaching useful knowledge, and will increase the love of people to each other. If we say a word of goodness we will get Allah's reward and the love and respect of the people and so we will be triumphant.

Prophet Muhammad (s) says: If man is not able to say something useful, he should keep silent from bad words and his silence will keep him far from Allah's wrath and from the harm which might befall him as a result of saying bad words. Whoever does evil deeds to people, people will surely confront him with evil too. And certainly, if you speak bad words it may cause you problems and harm and make you regret and wish you had kept silent and had not spoken.

Prophet Muhammad (s) educates us with good manners saying: Either you speak a useful and good word, or be silent which is better for you than speaking evil words.

'The sooner you connect yourself to Allah Ta'ala and
Rasulullah (Sallallaahu 'alayhi waSallam), the sooner you get on 'track',
then the first thing Allah Ta'ala blesses you with is
peace of mind and satisfaction.'

Do not make a decision with regards to any matter when angry. In anger a person is bound to make a faulty decision which he would then regret having made all his life.

Move away, cool down and think seriously before firing the bullets of divorce in anger. Almost every husband has regretted the decision of 'Talaaq' made when angry. Many wives have also regretted demanding a divorce, after their anger cooled and they thought of the consequences.

Even parents should not beat up their children in anger, for they too could sometimes regret, all their lives, the damage done. Teachers, as well, should not a make a decision of punishment in anger. Since the expression of anger is from Shaytaan, one has to be wary in not succumbing to it.
