Deen is not what Auliya-Allah (SWT) do but what Sayyidina Rasul-ullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam), Sahaba (RA), Taba'een (RA) & Taba'een (RA) did and there is NOT ONE example where the Sahaba (RA) danced or got out of control.
The only evidence in Islam is as follows:
Aisha (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to my house when two girls were beside me singing songs of Bu’ath. He laid down and turned his face to the other side. Then, Abu Bakr came and spoke to me harshly, saying, “Musical instruments of Satan near the Prophet?” The Messenger of Allah turned his face toward him and said, “Leave them.” When Abu Bakr became inattentive, I signaled the girls and they left. It was the day of celebration and the Abyssinians were playing with shields and spears; either I asked the Prophet or he asked me whether I would like to watch. I said yes. Then the Prophet made me stand behind him while my cheek was touching his cheek and he was saying, “Carry on, O Banu Arfida,” until I became tired. The Prophet asked me, “Are you satisfied?” I said yes, so I left. [Source: Sahih Bukhari 907]
How does this justify Sufi dancing?

Sufees produce the following Hadeeth as evidence as it is the only one which fits the bill:
عن أنس قال: «كانت الحبشة يزفنون بين يدي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلّم ويرقصون ويقولون: محمد عبد صالح ، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلّم: ما يقولون؟ قالوا: يقولون: محمد عبد صالح
Sufi translation: Sayyidina Anas (RA) that the Habashis were presenting their art in front of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and “THEY WERE DANCING (Yarqasun)” while saying: Muhammadun Abdun Salih (i.e. Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم the righteous slave). The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) asked: What are they saying? They said: Muhammadun Abdun Salih [Musnad Ahmed bin Hanbal, Volume No.3, Page no. 152]
Three explainations:
So how did the Sufees get from displaying weapons (of Jihad) and Mastery over them to Sufi-dancing? It shows that Muslims were in the habit of displaying weaponry and techniques even on Eid i.e. that their Eid joy was not about aimless celebrations but Jihad.
Hadeeth is produced above and reproduced as follows:
Aisha (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to my house when two girls were beside me singing songs of Bu’ath. He laid down and turned his face to the other side. Then, Abu Bakr came and spoke to me harshly, saying, “Musical instruments of Satan near the Prophet?” The Messenger of Allah turned his face toward him and said, “Leave them.” When Abu Bakr became inattentive, I signaled the girls and they left.
