Be very humble, polite & respectful with others even if you are the wealthiest, most influential, most powerful, most knowledgeable, most good looking person.

There will always be others who have been blessed with much more than us in every way but atctge same time they are much more humble, polite & respectful to others than us, so let’s learn from them.

Improve. Our condition

Whilst is heartwarming to see many using social networking beneficially, it saddens to see those using it detrimentally.

Language used, pages liked, comments made, images displayed, type of friends or people followed, hobbies mentioned etc are all indicative of our condition.

Let us all make an effort to improve our condition in this regard as there is always room for improvement - myself included.

True friends are not those who tell us what we 'want' to hear but rather what we 'need' to hear. Friends are responsible to ensure that the friendship results in the improvement of both sides spiritually as well as in other ways. Those who fear hurting us if the truth is told to us are like those who would rather see us making the wrong decisions in life & then sympathise when we suffer, yet they knew all along how to have saved us.

One true friend is better than 1000 hypocrites cheering us on!

The computer said that i could not start a new topic so I have to place my seasons greetings here.
Winter is a time for distilling. People who make perfume distil roses or lavander down to a very concentrated essence to make a perfume. Those who distill grain make a more contraversial product. I have recently distilled 5 major world religions or outlooks to a very concentrated essence. Here is a list of what i have distilled.
1.) Christiannity, do on to others as you would have them do on to you.
2.) Islam, improve yourself, improve your community, improve mankind.
3.) Buddhism, treat the causes of problems not just the symptoms.
4.) Secularism, it is much much more important not to be poor than it is to be rich
5.) Native American World Outlook, live sustainably, relationships with people are much more important than a stockpile of gold, or weapons, or dvds.
What can you make with these 5 essences?
