"If a husband becomes angry at his wife, he should stop and think to himself, 'How would I expect my son in law to treat my daughter if she made a mistake?
My wife is also someone's daughter and I am also someone's son-in-law. Therefore, I should control my temper and treat her appropriately.'"

When my wife makes me angry, I don't get angry, I try to keep calm and remember the sunnah of our beloved. When I show patience, this makes her more angry. But within minutes my calmness cools her down and then I tell her, "You see, this is why woman aren't authorized to give divorce. Because if she was, all marriages would end up broken".
Allah loves the patient ones. The wife will pick this up and adapt to it too.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
