To Celebrate or Not to Celebrate...That is the Question

Asslamo Allaikum,

And as someone who adheres to the Hanafi Madhab I have no idea what to think of it because I have not come across anything from Imam Abu Haneefa (RA), Imam Abu Yusuf, Imam Muhammad (RA) or others it’s as always the Ulamah of 600-700 years (Hijra and later) who are quoted and referenced. What did the earlier Imams of the Hanafi Madhabs said anything on the matter? OR did'nt for that matter?

Between Deobandees & Barelwees its always between Shaykh (Maulana) x said this versus Shaykh (Maulana) y said this and always deductions and analysis that if X is not done then its OK or if Y is done then its Haram or Bid'ah, lets take it back to the source and see what the earlier Imams said.
