VARIOUS DISCUSSIONS ON THE VEIL

Recently everything on Islam seems to be up for grabs to scrutinize tear to pieces and discuss and debate until their is nothing far worse to say, i bring you three articles with diifferent views on the niqab that are worth reading. Call it food for thought for all.

ISLAM i have noticed over the years is studied alot by non believers....but NOT always for good purposes but really to turn people away from ISLAM......and the ones who are really to blame are the ones who lack knowledge and pass this on to those who are seeking knowledge but due to someone being FAMOUSLY known they follow them without a thought!....we need more islamic websites with the RIGHT information and something DOES need to be done about those websites whch are claiming they are spreading deen when really they are spreading poison amongst the umaah.......

yes i am using harsh words....but it is only us, ourselves we have to blame.

My uncle's a maulana and he explained that the hidden treasures and interpretation of the Quran is an art dependent on many factors including also taqwa etc.

Different people will find different things depending on what Allah blesses them with. Thus how can a non-believer be qualified to interpret. I ask, is he or Ibn Abbas (RA) a more reliable source of interpretation mentioned in the article.

1 iman (NO non-muslim can truly understand any ayat/hadith without the noor of imam in their heart) and 2 taqwa (otherwise naffs and shaytaan would do all the understanding and reasoning)

these days u get all sorts chipping in with their 2 rupee's worth i.e The Suns guide to Bukhari etc. and Yasmin Alibhai-Brown's guide to the fiqh of quran and hadith on the laws of hijab

It is extremely important to seek authentic books and literature written by authentic ulema, it seems nowadays everyone becomes an expert author and speaker by attending a couple of weeks or a three months course in studying specific areas of Islam. Our pious respected ulema state, that due to the vast knowledge of Allah s.w.t.'s deen we continue to learn right until the day we die, so does a crash course give anyone the go ahead to publicly and privately preach misunderstood information? i.e. we read and learn about patience, and we think we know what its all about, its not until we endure the loss of a child, or suffer a painful illness or accident that we only just begin to touch on the understanding of patience, it's a life long struggle of learning.

Up till now all the people who have been victims of the media with their badly misinterpretations of Islam are openly advertising to the world their lack of knowledge with their non-sensical ideologies and theories. Alhamdulillah, it is a blessing from Allah swt that He displays the hidden falsehood from the hearts, so we may recognise the dishonest from the truthful amongst us.
