I could be wrong, but isn't there a narration that as long as someone is talking about Dajjal, he will not appear. He will only appear when there is no mention of him.

Having said that, The Prophet (saw)

and His companions were always looking out for Dajjal and even suspected some to be him.

After Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه defeated the first army of Khawarij, it was said to him:

â€œAll Praise for ALLAH Who rescued the servants from them â€œ

Ali رضي الله عنه replied:

"No I swear by the One in Whose Hand my soul is, there are still some that remain in the loins of men and verily there are those amongst them who will be with DAJJAL."

(al bidayah wan nihayah)

Allah Ta'ala states in the Quran:

"Shall we inform you of who are the "GREATEST LOSERS" with respect to their deeds? It is those whose entire struggle during the life of this dunya is wasted, BUT THEY ASSUME THEY ARE DOING GOOD" [18:103-104]

In Tafsir Tabari and Qurtubi it is narrated from Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه and Hazrat Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas رضي الله عنه that this verse refers to khawarij.

Deen is just part time hobby. Allah help us and save us from His Azaab.

Everyone who does not submit to Shariah will be vulnerable to dajjal.

Hazrat Thanvi (rahmatullah alaih) says in his malfoozaat:

"People who are much captivated by supernatural displays, will be with Dajjal in greater number. I have heard this from my seniors. I have also heard that Dajjal will have the appearance of a Majzoob (a saint engrossed with the love of Allah) This indicates that haal (a spiritual state) is not sufficient. The vital requirement is obedience to the Sunnah. Those eople whose attention is focused only on spiritual/supernatural states while not accepting the Deen (i.e. the Shariah) as the requisite for Tasawwuf, will find it very difficult to be saved from the traps of Dajjal. Dajjal will do everything, but he will not be able to act in accordance with the Sunnah. Only the (strict) followers of the Sunnah will be safe from Dajjal's trap."

You are right on the principles but wrong on the examples you gave; "all akabeereen ulama" cannot refer to deobandies only, and following KSA was wrong scientifically but some believe it was ok from fiqh pov and as such this has no relation with the dajjal.

where are you getting this from? if and thats a BIG if, the dajjal is going to pose as a muslim it will most likely be as a reformist/sufi type that will promote a lovey dovey version of islam which non muslims will love and say this is the kinda islam we like. kuffar hate islam and symbols of islam so if they are going to follow him.
