Once in an Islamic state, some women approached the governor of the time for equal opportunities with their husbands regarding marrying 4 times.
The governor gave them an appointment.
He was really worried. So he went to a friend, a great saint for help.
On the day of the appointment the ladies and the great saint arrived at the governor?s office.
The ladies explained that as men have the right to marry 4 women if they want to so should they.
The saint agreed on giving them this right only on one condition.
He said ?when a man has four wives it is possible for him to have four children at the same time, so if you can bear each of your four husband?s with a child all at once then I gladly give you equal opportunities here?
The women at once understood Allah?s Hikmat in this matter and all left the room.
The governor thanked his friend for his help.
