There I am having a real bad day, facing a few really difficult situations. It's Jumu'ah as well which hurts even more. When it r̶a̶i̶n̶s̶ snows, it...avalanches? Yeah I just created a new verb because that's how I roll. Anyway, you get the metaphor.
So I've tried everything. Thought about solutions, more thinking, more planning, calling, asking, more trying but just a fail at every level.
So I gave up, literally. And I'm sitting in my car, resigned to defeat. So I pick up my phone to take my mind off things and read a bit of Qur'an. Man, the useless iPhone is on virtual zero battery. And I need to save it for important calls and the phone car charger decides to martyr itself at that *exact* moment in celebration of it being Friday. Unbelievable. So now I'm even more stressed. But then I remember this is my Missus's car and she usually keeps a mus-haf in the glove box mA and voila there it is.
So I picked it up and read for a little while. Ignored everything coming in from calls and messages etc. Just chilled with The Book.
Wallah, I'm not kidding you. It's Jumu'ah so I can't even lie (well, that's what my Mum used to tell me). I put the Qur'an down and I reckon within 15 minutes, all of my problems were solved in just the most ajeeb way. Got a few calls, saw a few updates, a few things changed in real time and BAM! Like, miraculous. No other way to explain it. Everything is now hunky dory alhamdulillah and in fact, no, they were better than it was in the first place!
Man, what can I say that you don't know already? Yes the Qur'an needs to be read more intellectually and reflected over as opposed to just blessing marriages and new houses, but sometimes you're just happy to depend on its raw power, its curing effect, its barakah, its extraordinary nature to perform things from the Ghayb. Subhanallah how many times have we seen - I personally have loads of times - how reading the Qur'an works miracles in just the most blessed and unexpected ways. Incredible wallah.
Listen yara, don't just take my word for it. Try it for yourself seriously and *believe* that the Book of Allah really is a solution to all your problems. Not just by studying it and implementing and living our life by it, which is a *must* of course 24hrs a day, but also when the situation calls for it, for it to work miracles. smile emoticon
Alhamdulillah.
This cannot be undone and I am sure it will be greatly appreciated.
