I'm a great fan of Dr. Zakir Naik. I think he's ace in the work that he does. Whether someone wants to admit it or not he is a scholar in his respective field of Comparative Religion. That itself is an Islamic science.

The very fact he's been successfully victorious in this deliverance of daw'wah with more people accepting the religion of Islam is surely a suggestion that Allah has placed barakah in his efforts.

Granted he's made many blunders when addressing fiqh matters, and such questions should be put forward to the Ulema who're qualified in this position, but it's funny how the world is quick to highlight the shortcomings, but totally overlook the goodness of such people.

I admire how Dr. Zakir Naik is not shaken by the unjust criticism that's spirals around the Internet and real world about him, and just continues to focus on carrying out the fundamental of message of Islam, which is tawheed. Most of his lectures are usually surrounded why Islam is the only true religion, and this takes prescendence than engaging in discussions or debates on madhab compatability.

How about appreciating the good and at the same time refraining from the wrongs of the individual?
Appreciate his approach but at the same time we need to approach him and also let the masses know the flaws in his org/teachings etc.. in a kind and hikmah filled manner..
Here Youth get attracted by "american" " British " accent.. Does that in any sense mean that the accent is of more importance than the other things? no! real thing is the matter.. not the decor! Imagine saying don't listen to him but rather the other one.. ( who doesn't has a good accent) some people will do so.. but not "all " of them because their nafs want something and they can't help it!
So an easy solution is to slowly and gradually introduce others who have the same qualities like the former one so that they take the change and at the same time have the same thing..

Okay, let's not just name Dr Zakir.

The issue is the entire thing....Peace TV!

Today we have professionals with their own highly ranked tv channels with viewers across the world.

The Shia, Qadiani, Ahle Hadith, Barelwi, Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh all have these channels....what do we have in comparison? And if there is a tv channel for us, thats still not the point. We are too busy in local committee issues of the Masjid. As Muslims, we can't even unite on some very important aspects of the Deen.

Here is analogy, a normal doctor rushes to administer medicines, a specialist consultant in the field, weighs the side effects depending on the condition of the patient and looks for alternate methods. Similarly our ulema are aware of the fitnah spread by channels and through other media. But as I said specialists and consultants won't react spontaneously.

Many ulema in deoband after their graduation, are being given coaching in english and other local languages. I met an respected aalim who was sent by Moulana Salman Hussaini Nadvi DB for coaching in english. Can these ulema be comparable with fluency and mastery in english of ZN or our own shaykh Riyadul Haq DB or Shaykh Mumtazul haq DB? no and never.

My request is that let there be international coordination, let ulema with fluency and mastery in english language get expert guidance from senior ulema of Indian sub-continent and deliver.

Yes brother i agree with you. We have channels like "IQRA TV" and many others. But we don't do any realistic thing. All we do is some bayans, Q&A about private issues, fundraising etc. Yes these are good for practicing muslims. Yet there are needs of ummah which are staying folded forever. I think we should speak to imam Qasim to do something like the way peace tv does.

Unfortunately it's in our blood not to be united. We can't run a Masjid without politics and here we are talking about global unity.

Alhumdulillah, there many who don't have this illness in their blood but sadly they are too few, plus the locals won't let it happen. The locals also have this illness and in most cases, they are the cause.

Anyway, that's a whole new topic already being discussed on another thread.

Khair, inshaAllah, in the near future we might see a change.

UK needs to send about group of 30 new darul uloom graduates every year to India or Pakistan to specialise in a two year course dealing with comparative fiqh, religion and current events. otherwise they'll just end up teaching in makatib 5 till 7 in the evening. if they are equipped with dealing in the points mentioned above then they can use the social media to reach out to the youth rather than being gagged and enslaved by the mosque committees

Izhar ul-Haqq or Izhar al-Haq (Arabic: إظهار الحق‎) is a book by Rahmatullah Kairanawi. Originally written in Arabic in 1864, this six-volume book was later translated (or summarized) into English, Turkish and Urdu.

Christine Schirrmacher describes the book saying:

“ 'The Demonstration of the Truth' (izhâr al-haqq) served as a summary of all possible charges against Christianity and was therefore used after al-Kairânawî's death as a sort of encyclopaedia since al-Kairânawî extended the material of former polemicists like 'Ali Tabarî, Ibn Hazm or Ibn Taymiyya to a great extent."

This encyclopedia was used by Late Ahmed deedat and Dr Zakir Naik is using this now.

I heard this in an urdu bayan.

Can knowledgable members here discuss in detail about Molana Kairanwi RA, his debate, his hijrah to hijaz and his book Izharul haqq.

I think he lacks knowledge in some fields, but tries to have a go anyhow. This causes fitnah among Muslims and drives people away from Islam, such as when he started the false interpretation of "dahaaha" in the quran meaning "like an ostrich egg", where no translator before him came to that conclusion.

There is a course for any Alim in Darul-uloom Binori Town (Karachi) for years for any graduates to learn and to come to terms with and do logical dismantling of emerging threats to Sunnah and Islam.

Students after the first 40 days, can study further.

Open to any Alims to enroll.

The issue in UK is "Hazrat-Worship" and nothing can be done to fix that.
