As Salamu Alaikum elders, friends,

Yesterday saw some bakhoor chips in a store. Thought of buying it, but dont know if its recommended and useful.

Can someone shed more light on this from recommendation, practice of pious predecessors, virtues, medical/spiritual benefits

Found this in Askimam site,

My family bought tons home from Makkah as they liked it and saw it being used in the Haramain.

Personally I do like it a little but refrain from using it because the smoke gets to me and I find it affects my breathing, but that's just me and not anyone else.

salaam

i assume the incense used by the prophet (saw) and sahabah (rd) were pure and did not contain chemicals. maybe modern day versions contain chemicals to maybe intensify/prolong the fragrance. something to look out for when using incense.
