Is that statement correct?

Quote:
Even I COULDN'T ....

If there is a reference to it that would be great

I know "Allah CAN'T do anything/everything" sounds very un Islamic, however it is true somewhat. Explanations later InshaAllah.

Yeh doesn't sound right does it, now that you've pointed it out, there is nothing that Allah can't do, he is not needy or in need. Let's see, will remove it if its incorrect.

You've overlooked my statement

Quote:
I know "Allah CAN'T do anything/everything"

Try answering that then! And I can make you agree with me too. Surprised? Well I don't blame you.

I just remembered.

Non members can not see uploaded images.

So if you have uploaded any image and someone views the image, it will say that it can't be seen unless they sign in.

Same goes for the blogs. Therefore, one will have to save the image in their files on the blog section if they don't have the correct url code, and then once uploaded via the blog,, then anyone can view the image.

Hope that helps.

(i think) your trying to say Allah can't make anyone love him, but I believe Allah can do anything, and can make anything happen, so I dont really agree with you. What is it that Allah can't do? He can make the impossible possible!

If your statement above was correct, and you used it in a discussion with a Christian, you would lose your debate!

Christian: Hi there! Do you believe in God?
Muslim: Well yes, of course I do.
Christian: Do you believe God can do anything?
Muslim: Yes, He can do anything, He can make the impossible, possible.
Christian: Hey that's great, will you ever take your statement back?
Muslim: Why would I? God is the creator of everything. He can do anything, anytime, anywhere.
Christian: Great, so if God can do anything, why cant He come down to earth in a form of a man and teach man kind the way of life. In otherwords, why can't Jesus be God incarnate? You yourself have just said God can do anything. So why can't you accept Jesus was/is God?
Muslim: No because the Qur'an says so!
Christian: But you said God can do anything! And we believe he came to earth as Jesus! So why are you taking back your statement?
Muslim: Erm!

Basically, the point is Allah CAN NOT do ungodly things, and one of them is to come down to earth in a form of a man!

The answer really should be, God can not do anything ungodly! Such acts are not fit for a God.

Ok never thought of considering the negative side, but why would we relate Allah swt not doing ungodly actions, tht would never have crossed my mind.

However you are right in saying Allah swt cannot do ungodly things.

Back to the image, is the wording correct or incorrect? I think it's METAPHORICALLY speaking, (suddenly I like that word) bit like Allah relating to the needs of his servant.

Yep, I would stick to metaphorically speaking. But as you have seen, some people don't understand metaphors.

If someone said:

'look for Allah's love'

Where, how, and what would that mean to you?

We know that Allah swt looks over his creation with love, but how to look for His love?
