"Take the flowers of shyness,

the fruits of contentment,

root of submissiveness,

young shoots of grief,

leaves from the tree of truth,

the bark of civility

and the seeds of politeness.

Start grinding them in the grinder of devotion. Add daily the tears of shame. Put this mixture into the pan of your heart and bake it in the oven of fondness.

When ready strain it in the strainer of the purity of the heart, mix the sugar of sweet words, cook it on the high flame of love.

When the mixture is ready cool it with the air of fear of Allah. Then use it."

Hmmmm very interesting, this is the only other place that has it online, and how the request to post the URL along with any written material distributed is ignored. Oh well...

Real sorry brother Ahmed for not mentioning the site where I got it from.

Please forgive me.

Inshallah in the future I will ensure that I state the source of any posts taken from elsewhere.

Salams Not to worry sister. To be honest I thought you may have had it from someone else by email. Also, for clarity, this same excerpt is up on another forum I posted it up on as well.

Anyway, no harm done and nothing to forgive!

Asalamu'alaykum wa rahmatullah

Masha'Allah ...similarily:

1)Understand main goal of Tasawwuf
1a)Make niyyah to attain this goal, Fisabilillah.
2)Find a Shaykh of Tasawwuf you are comfortable with
3)Bayah[take that shaykh as your spiritual guide/mentor]
4)Strive and heed the advices of the shaykh
5)Rid self of spiritual ills insha'Allah
6)Acquire Jannah Insha'Allah.

this six step process to Jannah doesn't seem so hard does it? Alhamdulillah...

Subhan'Allah Allah's Mercy falls upon us like rain...yet we sometimes fail to notice it.

duas are requested...
