Shaykh Mumtaz ul Haqq says that when people used to request his Shaykh, Mawlana Ghulam Habib Sahib for du'a, he used to say, "Do you just want me to make du'a for you or do you want all the good people of the world to make du'a for you?"

The reply would obviously be, "All the good people as well."

His reply would be, "Become pious and you will have a share in the du'a of hundres of millions of people."

He explains that this is because whenever a Mulsim recites the Tashahhud in Salaat he will repeat the words 'Peace be upon us and upon all the pious servants".
