I have carefully read many of the arguments for Brexit and personally spoken to two of the chief proponents of this idea online. In fact, with one of them I had a long detailed conversation about the pros and cons of his paper.
Let me be clear, whether Britain Brexits or remains, both options are unpalatable for Muslims in Britain. The only option for us is to choose the option which does us least harm.

In the 1970’s Saudi Officials decided to create a Calendar called “Ummul-Qura”, they were at pains to point out that this is for civil purposes and not for religious acts of worship. Shaykh Syed Abul-Hasan Ali Nadwi (RA) one of the prominent Ulama of that time saw the repercussions of this upon the Islamic world and articulated his opposition.

Addendum: I have just been informed that the BBC wrote a number of accusatory letters to British Ulama and Institutions asking to explain themselves or appear on the program. All those who contacted Wifaqul Ulama were helped with drafting a response and none of them were named or mentioned on this program.

The recent attacks in the Media against the Deobandees are not hidden from anyone and need no further publicising. I wish to propose a suggestive plan of action, it is only my humble opinion and since I am (most certainly) nobody there is no compulsion on anyone to take it.
This is simply my Mushwara as being part of the Ummah of Nabi (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam).

Today is a very sad and emotional day for me! I started reading Ishtiaq Ahmed Novel at around 9 years old.
I was chastised (and punished) by my father, the teacher, the School and everybody else but the Love affair continues to this day. In fact last night, I fell asleep reading a novel (half way through).
As a child, I had no idea what Ahmadees (or Qadiyanees) were let alone much about their Aqeedah but in my young mind I knew that they had something to do with Rasul-ullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam).

Alhumdolillah, Allah (SWT) gave Junaid Jamshed Hidaya to move away from Vital Signs and embark upon the Journey of following the noble Sunnah of Rasul-ullah (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam) nearly 2 decades ago. Masha’Allah for over 20 years many have been inspired by Junaid Jamshed to come to the Deen of Allah (SWT).
However, the graph of Junaid Jamshed (as far following) the Sunnah is concerned has been steadily declining for over a decade. Many Muslims chose to (and still choosing to) give him benefit of the doubt and we should continue to raise our hands in supplication for our noble and respected Brother.
However, I had a conversation with a leading Scholar (who is also a friend of Junaid Jamshed) and his attitude truly upset me. This same Scholar wanted me to campaign against a famous Da’ee in the West because in his opinion this person is a “Halafi”. Junaid Jamshed may be a “Hanafi” but his public sins are of a far serious nature.
