One Monday morning, Imaam Ghazali Rahmatullah alaihe , who
is famous for his book, Ihyaa-ul-Uloom, performed Wudhu (Ablut-
ion) and observed his Fajr Salaat. Then he called for his shroud,
kissed it and put it to his eyes. After this he said, "With pleasure I
appear before the King-of-kings. Saying this, he lay full length on his
back, facing the Qiblah, and passed away to the Infinite Mercy of
Allah Ta'ala.
