Salam, The blog has been updated. Noteworthy: Manage Blog link will be found at the top under your username. HTML format has been removed completely for now and the forum bbcode editor is moved here for cleaner layout on the blog page. Background image options have also improved and the banner can now be larger.

Get notified

Salam, For those blogging, you can now get notified with browser notifications (used across the site for various alerts) so when there's comments or something that needs attention on the blog you'll know immediately without checking email. Future settings will allow you to turn different notifications on and off but for now this will hopefully be useful. Basic guide: Go to accounts page: https://www.muftisays.com/services.php Under "Browser/Android/Chrome Notifications" Click on Register

The blog is almost fully mobile friendly but a lot of updates are needed.

Bugs should be reported in the comments.

Paginate your entries

Assalamu Alaykum,

You can now paginate your posts and split long entries into pages. This is particularly useful to organise parts, chapters or simply to make it easier to read.

Simply add [page] (squared brackets with the word page) and it should automatically come up like this entry

[page]

This should be page 2 - PS. This won't show up if you're previewing

The New Blog System

Assalamu Alaykum The blog has had a major update. No updates for almost 2 years as you can see from the date of my last entry here. So how major? Well, all the pages have been updated with newer scripts, styles, features and layout. It's been a while but Alhamdulillah I've finally got around to it. Many unneeded things were removed as well as many needed things being added. Some of the new features include: - Better management area - BBCODE buttons for easier formatting

Archive and Posting Update

Assalamu Alaykum, Version 2.2.1 - Archive now shows ALL the months in which posts are available. - When a draft is saved, the date is not recorded. The date of the post will be the date the post first becomes active. For more ideas and suggestion, please feel free to let me know.

Subscription Emails & Comments

Assalamu Alaykum, A few more changes have taken place and the 2 known problems with comments and subscription emails have now inshaAllah been fixed. The comments were being posted but not stored. This issue is hopefully resolved. The subscription emails have had a few issues and are slowly fixed.
