Coverng of the face

I have heard many different opinions with regards to women covering their faces however, I am still a little confused. Could you please clarify for me whether the covering of the face is a fardh on all believing women?

I know many families who find it difficult to even come to terms with their daughters wearing the hijab and the jilbab. If the ulamaa do confirm that it is a fardh then what would be the best way to go about wearing it, aswell as pleasing the parents, as the family are so against the whole idea of wearing even the jilbab. Explaining to them that the Allah has commanded all women to cover, is still a great mission within itself.

JazakAllah khair for your time.

Discharge

ASSALAMUALIKUM.W.W.W

(this question is for a person following the shafee mathab)

I have some concerns about discharge and haiz.

I normally have discharge all the time, and every month iget haiz, the duration of haiz for a shafee person is maximum 15 days. my bleeding stops afer 11 - 12 days then again i get the discharge, so do i have my ghusal after 15 days or do i do my ghusal as soon as the bleeding stops?

Pregnancy

Assalamalaykum.

At 15weeks of pregnancy the midwife detected no hearbeat and sent me for scan. The scan showed no heartbeat and that the baby stopped growing at 13 weeks. The doctor gave me three options =

1. To have the baby removed surgically. (D & C)

2.To take tablets to make the womb contract and lose the baby.

3. To wait two weeks and let nature take it's course

I took the third option and left.I have to go back in two weeks for a scan and if nothing has happened they might want me to consider the other two options.

If Allah so wishes and I lose the baby naturally then I can accept. The other two options I am not happy with and will always think if they were actually wrong about their diagnosis.

Please advise me if I should consider the other two options or just tell them that I am leaving it as it is and whatever happens will happen.

Also after the scan I have put on a red thread(which has been prayed on) with knots on it on my stomache, i it correct to wear it.

Bleeding over due

salaams

after giving birth recently, i did not bleed continously for 40 days unlike my last 2 times. (i normally bleed heavily)
i bled very litlle on & off. maybe a little every day or every 2 days.
so i continued to be napak for 40 days as i understand one should act according to the way it usually would be.
however, it went 3-5 days over my 40 days period. i performed gusl by the 40th night. however, in those extra days, i only spotted maybe once in a day.
so, i never did fresh wudhu for every salaat as i only spotted once a day for those extra days. i only performed fresh wudhu if i obviously broke it or if i spotted which also breaks wudhu. does that mean my sallat was not counted? was i supposed to do fresh wudhu even though i only spotted once in a day? if so, does it mean i need to perform qaza salaat for it all?

also, just now i carried out red discharged and later on followed by spotting. it was more then 15 days after my nifas period so i counted it as period. but it was only that day. 3 nights after that, i spotted again and the next day i had pinkish discharge. is this counted as a period?

sorry, im just very confused.

Also can we put it on our feet too?

Cultural / Religious Attire?

Assalamoalaikum

Are the sari and 'bindi', also known as 'tikka' (the ornamental jewel worn on the forehead) regarded as garments/ornaments of religious significance (hindu) or just cultural, originating from the asian subcontinent?

Is it permissible to wear such clothing/ornament?

Similarly, if one chooses to wear long skirts and tops such as is worn by some western women, is this decision reprehensible or of no consequence either way?

Does wearing this clothing represent some affiliation to others who wear it?

Jazakallah Khairun
