Going on holiday

Assalamualaykum. I wanted to ask if it is permissible for a woman to go on holiday with her family and mahrams or will this be considered unnecessarily going out?

Allah says in the Quran.

وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ (الأحزاب: ٣٣)
“And remain in your homes” (Ahzaab: 33)

The verse states that the standard for women is to remain in their homes. This is in keeping with shame and modesty. It is permissible for her to go out for her needs.

However, if she goes out for more than 48 miles she must be accompanied by a Mahram, she is covered and wearing Hijab, and no intermingling with the opposite sex.

Also it is important to go on Halal holiday locations and avoid Haram holiday locations.
