womens clothing and eyebrows

i would like to ask a few questions and i will be greatful if both can be answered

1) Are woman allowed to wear jeans with a kurta / kameez which is upto the knees or longer?

2)i feel i am not ready to wear a burkha yet.. though my parents think of me as a very bad girl because i do not do so .. however truthfully i wear long clothes.. covering all my body parts and not too revealing or short either..i also wear a scarf. my coat is also long.. i feel very hurt so please tell me if you think im bad.

3) Is it allowed to clean up the eyebrows??.. only clean up NOT shape them? because the eyebrows both side were slightly deformed after an eye operation.. the sticky pad made it messy

Waalaikumussalam warahatullahi wabarakatuh.
Bismillahir rahmaanir rahim.

1) The Shariah has provided a dress code for the Muslim women whereby women are to observe strictly and they are to adorn the hijab and niqab. Even though the kurta/kameez may be upto the knees or longer, but the shape of one's body will still remain exposed to some extent. Therefore, a woman should always stick to the dressing according to the Shariah.

2) Allah Taala has said in the Holy Quraan:
'The last thereof (that wine) will be the smell of musk, and for this let (all) those who want to strive, strive (ie hasten earnestly to the obedience of All�h).' (Surah Al-Mutaffifin, verse 26)

Nabi SAW has reported to have said : Hasten in doing good deeds... (Tirmidhi, Abu Daud, Muslim)

Muslims have been encouraged by Allah and the Prophet SAW in hastening towards good deeds. There are so many virtues and benefits of hastening towards good deeds as this used to also be the practice of the Sahabah RA. A certain zeal would be created in oneself as to only perform good deeds if one always hastens to do good deeds. This will then promise the pleasure of Allah and in return Allah will reward the person immensely insha Allah.

A person can strive in doing good deeds not only in acts of ibaadah but also in other aspects of deen (eg. obedience towards parents, observing the Shariah dress code, keeping good relations within one's family, doing charity, helping one another and so forth.). We can never be too complacent with our current imaani (spiritual) condition and thus the need to always improve ourselves to the next level.

Alhamdulillah that you are currently covering yourself up as to conform your actions with the Shariah. However, there's always room for improvement and one should always try to grasp the opportunity to do so. That is why your parents want you to wear a burkha as it is more decent and not revealing as the scarf. Even though you might not be ready to wear it yet, but always make dua to Allah to give you the taufiq (ability) on wearing it soon insha Allah as it is in a way hastening towards good deeds. By wearing the burkha, you will not only progress one step ahead spiritually, but also perform another good deed which is very virtuous in the eyes of Allah and His Rasul SAW : birrul waalidain (obedience of the parents).

3) So long as none of the hair from the eyebrows are being removed, there is no harm on cleaning them as Nabi SAW has cursed a mutanamissah (one who plucks the eyebrows).
