ASALAMU ALAIKUM My question is that after I were dine with my homework. I were going to pack my stuff and i said (inside my self) " I must pack this pen this is my Lucky pen*. So I'm I a nonmuslim because is shirk to be live luck and unluck. I also sanna said i skuffer much from waswas.

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

1) In Islam, the concept of belief in ‘luck’ and ‘superstition’ is incorrect. From the tenets of faith, all good and bad is from Allah, and no benefit or harm can afflict an individual without the divine decree and permission of Allah.

No calamity befalls the earth or your own selves, but it is (pre-destined) in a Book before we bring it into being, indeed is easy for Allah. [Sūrah Hadīd 57:22]

It is narrated by Abu Hurairah (ra) that The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no contagion; nor evil omen, nor taking ill omen from a bird, nor bad luck (or misfortune) in the month of Safar." [Sahih al-Bukhāri]

An individual should always be content with the affairs Allah has ordained for them:

And it could be that you dislike something, when it is good for you, and it could be that you like something when it is bad for you. Allah knows, and you do not know. [Sūrah al-Baqarah 2:216]

Furthermore, for a believer, every situation is an opportunity for blessings, reward and goodness:

It is narrated from Suhayb (ra) that Allah's Messenger ﷺ said: How wonderful is the  situation of the believer, for there is good in every affair of his. And this is not the case with anyone else except in the case of a believer; for if he has an occasion to feel delight, he gives thanks for it(to Allah), thus there is a good for him in it, and if he is afflicted with difficulty, he endures it patiently, thus there is a good for him in it. [Sahih Muslim]

In light of the question, note that your pen, in reality, has no intrinsic quality to cause goodness, which is decreed from Allah alone. The belief of ‘luck’ attributed to the pen is incorrect. If an individual mentions ‘…this is my lucky pen’ but believes all positive or negative actions achieved with the pen in possession is from Allah alone, then there is no kufr (disbelief). On the contrary, if one believes that Allah was not the effector, then this will be kufr.

2) Waswasah (whisperings & doubts) are from Shaytān (the rejected devil). Do not entertain these and remind yourself, ‘how can I give these baseless thoughts any credence!’

Make it a habit to recite the Qur’ān, for indeed in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find peace and tranquility [1].

Recite the ta’awwuz frequently [2];

I seek refuge in Allah from the rejected devil

Never lose hope in the Mercy of Allah. Engage in du’a (supplication) & implore Allah to relieve and alleviate you from your predicament. Recite the following:

There is no power nor might (to do any good or prevent any evil) except in Allah

And Allah Ta’āla knows best
