My skillset is finance and i have spent many years in banking. I want my income to be halal. I have been unable to get a job in another sector. What do i do as i'm divorced and need to earn a living.

If you are currently working in a bank and unable to leave due to difficulties then you can work until you find a Halal job.

May Allah provide you with a Halal job. Ameen.

Do not lose hope. Have trust in Allah, He will provide. InshaAllah. Continue to make Dua.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلۡقُوَّةِ ٱلۡمَتِينُ

In fact, Allah is the All-Sustainer, Possessor of power, the Strong. (51:57)

وَمَن يَتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ يَجۡعَل لَّهُ ۥ مَخۡرَجً۬ا وَيَرۡزُقۡهُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَحۡتَسِبُ

Whoever fears Allah, He brings forth a way out for him, And provides him (with what he needs) from where he does not even imagine. And whoever places his trust in Allah, He is sufficient for him. (65:3)
