Supplication for illness

Assalam Alai Kum,

My 5 month old son has been diagnosed with Infantile Spasm-severe epilepsy of the infants.it has been over a month now but no medications have been able to stop his seizures.Could you please let me know a suitable dua for the same.

Al-jawab billahi at-taufeeq (the answer with Allah's guidance)


Recite Surah Al Shams in the ears of your son, InshaAllah he will be cured. (Aamale Qurani)

You may recite Surah Al Mu'awwazatain (Suratul Falaq and Naas) and blow over your child.(Aamale Qurani)

Make Du'a to Allah Ta'ala and place trust in Him alone.

"And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad ) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright." (2:186)

"Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allâh, certainly, Allâh loves those who put their trust (in Him)." (3:159)



And Only Allah Ta'ala Knows Best.
