IS DUA AFTER NAMAAZ WITH IMAM COLLECTIVELY WRONG ?
BECAUSE I KNOW IT IS SUNNAT TO DO IT AFTER NAMAAZ BUT I HEARD IT IS BIDAH WITH THE IMAAM.

What is the way to raise the index finger in
tashahhud?
I ask this because some say :
1:When you reach LA ILAHA..you make a ring and raise
your index finger and at ILL ALLAH you put it down
(and hold the ring with the lowered streched index
finger until the end of salaah)
2. Some say the same as above but when saying ILL
ALLAH you must put your hand back in original position
back (on your thigh)
3. Some say just keep your hand on your thigh and
raise the index finger (without making a circle ) at
LA ILAHA and put i down at ILL ALLAH.
Which one is the correct? According to my view the
first is the most correct one in accordance with the
hadeeths in this subject.
Can you elabrote more on it? Please quote with proofs

I've been told you see the answer in your dream - but my dreams have been completely non-related to what I am doing Istikarah for.

Assalamualikum Mufti Sahib.Please can you answer the following questions.
Can Salaat be prayed:
1. Towards an open fire.
2. Towards a mirror
3. What is the criterion for a screen between a person praying Salaat and people passing in front of him/her.
4. If we are praying in a large hall, can one pass the people praying behind you if you have finished praying. Or should you remain in that position until the person/people behind you have finished.

Q1) after carrying out takbeer tahreema in namaz, are you meant to read tawuz and tasmiya and then thana,or do you read tawuz and tasmiya after thana?

Asalaam Alekum,
I have a question about Salaat.
Since quite a while I've been praying all my prayers I try not miss any prayer. In the morning when I wake up and after performing my Fajr namaaz I read Surah Yaseen once. And then go back to sleep again.
But whenever I have my monthly periods its obvious I can't perform my Salaat or read Quran then and then I feel so depressed and guilty about not doing my daily things. When I pray my Prayers I feel like I can Handle the whole world but when I can't pray because of my monthly periods then I feel like a failure and like I have failed in every aspect of my life.
Nowadays when I have my periods at the end of the day before going to sleep I repeat 10 times third Kalma, 4 Times Surah Fatiha, 3 Times Surah Ikhlaas, 10 Times Darood Sharief. Like this at the end of the day I feel fine. But not fully relaxed and calm like the way I feel when I do my daily prayer.
Therefore I would like to know What I could do not to feel guilty and depressed.

during the isha and magrib salah I like to record the imams voice now in the 3rd rakah as there is no recitation just before performing the sajdah for the second rakah the recording machine is in front of me I press the stop button to stop recording this is to save space as this is a MP3 player that does not have a lot of memory so to save space where there is no recitation I press the stop button just before my forehead touches the ground does this invalidate my salah
please explain and provide evidence

do women have to raise the elbows and forearms during the sujood?? and do the thighs and stomach have to touch during the sujood? and how are the feet meant to be placed during the sujood and while standing and sitting in salah? which is the strongest opinion??

IS THERE A DIFFERNCE IN THE WAY A MAN AND WOMAN PERFORMS SALAT,
[ SUCH AS THEWAY TO DO SAJOOD]

Respected Ulemaa I wanted to know is it allowed to give the Khutbah of Jummah in another language apart from Arabic? I have seen many Masaajid doing this now, If it is not allowed please can you provide the proof

my brother works at night, and so sleeps in day time, during the sleep he often misses zohr namaz (ba jamaat) and so he performs it later as qaza. he cannot awake at the prayer time. is it ok for him to qaza it in such a situation or he must wake up to perform it ba jamaat? isn't it an 'uzr' like illness etc?
