Assalamu alaykum
wot does one do if he forgets that he is chewing gum and starts his salaah?
does it break his salaah?
if not, should he finish his salaah?
or
Break it himself and dispose of the chewing gum
Also
if one has to break salaah for a valid reason , how does one break the salaah?
should he do salaam to both sides in whichever posture he is and break his salaah? If not, how do you do it.

I know that during travel you have to perform qasr salah. What i wanted to know is what if there is no space to perform the salah i.e. to stand and perform the salah. for example, a person is on a bus and there is no space to stand and perform the salah or there is space but he will not be able to stand and perform because he will lose his balance, how would a person perform salah in this case?

On the 7th of Nov 2005, an Employment Tribunal Case is going to be taken place in London in Connection with my application to the Employment Tribunal of indirect religious discrimination against my previous secondary school for denying me the right to pray Friday in the nearby mosque and refusing to honor our verbal agreement that I have struck with the school management when I joined the school in Feb 2002.
I have been asked by my NASUWT Teacher?s Union who are representing me in this case to provide an authority on the Islamic Maliky tradition to testify in the Tribunal case that:? Friday prayers are to be performed in a mosque and only in special circumstance that a minimum of eleven Muslims are required for a JUMMAH prayer.
This is a test case. It is very important for the whole Muslim community in UK. The issue between myself and the school management is running now for almost two and half years and the Local Education Authority is baking up the school.
Could you be please advice me of any qualified person who is an authority on the Maliky Islamic Tradition able to give Islamic ruling on this issue?

some people say that jumuah in jail is allowed because people 4rm outside can go inbut the people thet r in there cant get out and i have heard that 4rt the sharaite jumuah one is that the place should be such that people can come and and go(free)

As Salaam Alaikum, Is it permissible to miss the Friday Khutba in order to help traffic flow and parking in the Mosque? I have been reluctant in volunteering to help due to the fact that I may miss the Friday Khutba. Someone told me that if I did volunteer, it would be as if I didnt miss the Khutba and I would still get full reward. Please advise

I've read that it is not permissable to omit sunnat-e-muakkida in favor of Qadha salaat, but can one omit sunnat-e-gair muakkidah, and pray Qadha instead (as one should prefer Qadha salaat over nafl too)?

I came home from school today and didnt realise that I nearly missed asr. I ran upstairs, quickly performed my Asr salaah. When I checked the time straight away after my salaah, it was 3:54pm (& 34 secs). According to my timetable maghib started today at 3:54 so is my salaah valid?

I was in the plane and some brothers in islam said the azan aloud, thereafter carried out the salat in the aisle, me wearing niqab i didnt think it was appropiate to stand in the aisle to pray cause i would be center of attention being the only female praying.
Therefore i prayed salat in my seat was that wrong of me? can you please tell me the shariat ruling regarding this matter.

I was wondering if when travelling especially in the city, and if it were difiicult to find a place to pray salah is it permissible to pray salaah in the disable toilet room as the room would be bigger and private and ample space would be available. Also if there is any other advice you could give regarding the issue of finding a suitable place to pray.

IF A MALE GETS SEXUALLY ARROUSED AND BECOMES WET (MAZI) BUT DOESNT PRODUCE THICK SPERM DOES HE NEED GHUSUL TO PERFORM SALAT?

i study at a college where there are quite a few muslims.
sometimes when i am prayin salat individually another brother comes and joins me to form a jamat.Is this permissible?

Sallams Mufti Saheb, Due to our own weakness sometimes we miss our Sallat with jammat in the mosque. But then some brothers get together and perform a 2nd jammat with more brothers joining... If i was also late, do i join the 2nd jammat or do i make my own sallat by myself??? Plz could you also explain why...Jazakallah again for your time..

I follow Hanafi Fiqh. My nephew asked me the following:
When a person does a mistake in prayer through ignorance and that mistake invalidates prayers over a long time, he must still repeat the prayers. In Ahadees, we see that :
When two campanions were travelling in the desert and could not find water, one of them did not pray and the other rolled in the dust but when they come to Rasullah SAW he simply showed them the Tayyamum, he didn't ask them to repeat any prayers. There are similar instances. Also, it seems like Imam Ahmad and Imam Malik's view is not to repeat in this case. So, what is the evidence for the Hanafi Fatwa?
Please help me answer this question.
