Answer

Answer

In the name of Allah the Guardian Lord of us all

When you go to visit them it is important to bear in mind and adhere to the following points:

? That you are careful with what you eat while you are there, i.e. you do not eat or drink Haram foods.

? You do not drink alcohol or drink from the vessels from which alcohol was drank, unless it has been purified.

? You avoid taking part in any religious festivals, customs and traditions etc

? It is permissible to use the containers and utensils of non-Muslims if they are washed and purified.

? Your non-Muslim relatives who have not yet accepted Islam may also kiss your children; the saliva of a human is Pure unless they have consumed anything Haram and not rinsed their mouths out.

? That you approach your family in a kind and respectful manner and fulfil the rights of your mother and father.

? That you show good Islamic character and manners.

? It is my own humble opinion that you try not to enter into religious debates with your family; I am saying this in a general tone as I am not aware how your family is dealing with your acceptance of Islam. If you feel that you are able to talk to them without argumentations etc then the choice is up to you.

? That visiting your next of kin should be used as an opportunity (is possible) to make Da'wah (inviting to Islam) to your non-Muslim relatives.

? Hijaab rules and Regulations will apply from your Ghair Mahrem.

? Make Dua and Zikr in your heart while you are there. Inshallah, it may be the first time that someone has done Zikr there and the effect may bring about the divine light of Allah there.

? To learn the way of good character and morals, one would suggest to look into the life of the noblest of Mankind, the leader of the Prophets of Allah, Muhammad.

"Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad, saws) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much. (Surah .33 Verse.21)

Inshallah may Allah guide your family and may he keep us steadfast on Deen, Ameen.

And Allah knows best
