as salaam aleykum, Does raising hands when going into ruku, etc, affect a Hanafi's prayer? and is it Makrooh to do so? And why we hanafees don't raise our hands at those positions? Please quote with daleels and sources from hanafi fiqh books. was salaam

Bismillah

Assalamu alaikum,

1) If a person raises his hands before or after Ruku, will not invalidate the salah or make it Makrooh but the salah would remain correct and complete.

2) Proofs of not raising the hands.

Mahmud Bin Ghailaan al-Marwazi - Wakee - Sufyaan - Aasim Bin Kulaib - Abdur Rahmaan Bin al-Aswad - Alqamah - Abdullah (Bin Masood): Verily he said:
Should I not perform with you the Salaat of Rasulullah (Sall Allahu alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallim)?

He then performed Salaat and he did not raise his hands except once.

(Nasaai)

Similarly, there are 42 Sahih evidences for the issue of not raising the hands in the Hanafi Madhhab.
