Respected Maulana Sab, AoA,

Since it is permissable to have a break during Sa'ee (as long as for a day) after any round so, is it permissable to complete the Sa'ee of Hajj after sunset of 12th Zilhajj or even on 13th / 14th Zilhajj? will there by any penalty in such a case?

Kindly answer me at your earliest.

Al-jawab billahi at-taufeeq (the answer with Allah's guidance)

To perform the rounds of Sa'i continuously without interruption is Sunnah, according to Imam Abu Hanifah and Imam Shafi' (Rahimahuma-Allah). It is Makruh for one to delay or pause during his Sa'i due to some reasons. If one performed Tawaf and then perform the Sa'i on the next day, it will be permissible. (Al Fiqhul Islami Wa Adillatuhu Vol.3 Pg.172)

If Sa'i was not performed after Tawaf Al Qudum (Tawaf when you first enter Makkah), it must be performed within Ayyam An Nahr (Days of immolation 10,11 and 12) after the Tawaf ur Ziyarat /Fardh. (Quduri Pg.98)

The original time for Sa'i is within Ayyam An Nahr (Days of immolation 10,11 and 12) after the Tawaf ur Ziyarat/Fardh.

A person who relinquishes the Sai' between Safa and Marwah is liable for Dam, but his Hajj is complete.
