IS it A sin for ladies to go to gents tailors?give them measurements ?or give them their dress for measurements?
in the context of HIJAB kindly Explain this that arent muslim women supposed to go to only ladies tailors?


It is not permissible for a female to go to a male tailor for measurement purposes. Either a garment of the right size or written measurements should be given. It is a clear sin as the whole purpose of wearing the �hijaab� is to adopt modesty and conceal the shape and outline of the body, therefore this would certainly defeat the purpose.
