Al-jawab billahi at-taufeeq (the answer with Allah's guidance)

If a Taweez contains words of Kufr and Shirk or one regards the Taweez to be the ultimate Curer and protector, then this will be Shirk and impermissible.

The wearing of Taweez is permissible if it has verses of the Qur’aan and one does not regard the Taweez to be the ultimate curer and protector. However, it is best to refrain from it since the Taweez neglects one’s focus of Tawakkul (trust) away from Allah Ta’ala.

Allah Ta'ala says,

"Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allâh, certainly, Allâh loves those who put their trust (in Him)." (3:159)

"If Allah helps you, none can overcome you; and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him that can help you? And in Allah (Alone) let believers put their trust." (3:160)

And Only Allah Ta'ala Knows Best.
