Asalaam-a-laikum, respected Brothers

Please answer the following question.

If a woman has been divorced by her husband before the marriage was consummated and she has observed Iddat because the couple had spent time alone together, can they remarry?

Under what circumstances the couple can remarry if the husband divorced his wife.

1) Yes, they can remarry.

2) If the husband divorced his wife three times, the wife cannot remarry until a Shar'ee Halalah has taken place.

If there was only one or two divorces then the wife may remarry after the Iddat period expires.
