Some people say that lightning strikes when shaitan goes to the seventh sky and tries to listen to Allah's words, is this true?

Assalamu'alaikum w.w.
This is incorrect.
The Shayateen are pelted with shooting stars (AL-shihab Al-Thaqib) when they attempt to listen in to the conversations of the Angels. Allah (SWT) says in Surah Al-Hijr, "And we have protected them from every outcast satan, but the the one who troes to eavesdrop is chased by a clearly visible flame." (15:18) Further details can be seen in the English Ma'aarif-ul-Qur'an, Vol. 5, Page 303.
