Assalamu Alykum
Recently a sister asked me about what she shud do in this situation...she purchased a raffle ticket sold to her from her child's school and won a small prize. It then occured to her that it was a form of gambling, therefore should she give the prize away to charity? Or should she give the money spent on the ticket to charity?
