Can you please answer the following question.


Are women allowed to have the smear test taken when they are fasting in the month of Ramadhan?

Al-jawab billahi at-taufeeq (the answer with Allah's guidance)


No, the fast would be nullified. It would therefore be advisable to delay the appointment until after Ramadhan. (Fataawa Hindiya - vol. 1, pg 204)
