Question: Is Fast Valid?

Dear Mufti Sahib,


1-During Istinjah, if somebody felt that a small portion of his finger went inside the anus while he was wiping out the filth.Does this invalidate the fast?


2-If somebody was kissing his wife and tiny hair on her neck got inside the mouth and then down his throat. Does this invalidate the fast?

1) No, the fast did not break. It is advised that one should not exaggerate in cleansing the rear orifice whilst Istinja, to prevent the fast from being invalid.

2) If he is absolutely certain that he had swallowed such hair then Qaza should be kept.
