Question: Can nawafil prayers be offered with Tayyamum, even if water was available?
Assalamualaikum.
Can nawafil prayers be offered with Tayyamum, even if water was available within 1 mile radius?

الجواب حامداومصليا

Tayammum is a substitute for Wudhu. If one cannot find water within 1 mile or more then one is permitted to do Tayammum, otherwise it will not be allowed.

You can perform one Tayammum and offer any Salah of Fard and Nafal.

ويجوز أن يصلي بالتيمم الواحد ماشاء من الفرائض كالوضوء للأمر به أي في قوله تعالي فلم تجدوا ماء فتيمموا شرط عدم الماء فقط وجعله في حال العدم كالوضوء………
و يصلي بالتيمم الواحد ما شاء من النوافل اتفاقا
