One should not go to people who don’t do authentic Ruqya from Quran and Sunnah.

A person who seeks aid from a Jinn etc, does not fall under authentic Quranic and Sunnah treatments.

Jinns can’t be your friends they are deceitful in nature. No human can control jinn except Sulaiman (عليه السلام)

Allah says,

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغۡفِرۡ لِى وَهَبۡ لِى مُلۡكً۬ا لَّا يَنۢبَغِى لِأَحَدٍ۬ مِّنۢ بَعۡدِىٓ‌ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡوَهَّابُ

He said, “O my Lord, forgive me, and bless me with a kingdom that will not be available to anyone after me. Surely, You are the Bountiful.”(Saad:34)

وَأَنَّهُ ۥ كَانَ رِجَالٌ۬ مِّنَ ٱلۡإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍ۬ مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمۡ رَهَقً۬

And that some guys from human beings used to seek refuge with some guys of the Jinn, and thus they increased them (the Jinns) in arrogance, (Al Jinn:5)

You must avoid such people who claim they have Jinn as companion.

How can you distinguish a genuine Raqi from a rogue one. E.g. someone who asks your name, your mothers name and takes some traces from you I.e. hair, nails, blood etc, they will ask for your clothes and photo aswell. They do this so they communicate with their Jinn to identify you and they will inform you with it many lies.

They will use amulets/Taweez.

They will ask you to do strange rituals and sacrifices.

They will ask you to frequent visit them and charge you extortionate sums of money.

Claim to be healers. Seeing you alone. Physical abuse. They are not known by Masjids.

May Allah protect us from them. Ameen
