If the eyebrows have become so dense that it becomes a reason for repugnance in the ladies husband, then it is permissible to trim them to a more appropriate and normal size. (Ahsanul Fataawa Vol 8)

To trim them to a more appropriate and normal size does not mean to trim the eyebrows ? so they appear ?paper thin? or such designs which are prevalent today are normal. Normal is implying the natural norm appearance of eyebrows which is has not been tampered with.
