Question: Forgetting The No. Of Recitations In Ruku Or Sajda
Salaam

Sometimes when reciting in Ruku or Sajda, I forget if I had recited an odd no. of times. Is ur Namaaz still valid if u recited an even amount of times by mistake.

In the name of Allah the greatest

Yes your namaz is valid. It is Mustahab to recite in odd numbers.
(Al-Hidayaah Vol 1 Pg 110)

Sayyidina Abu Hurayrah narrates the Hadith which says,

? Verily, Allah is odd [meaning that Allah is one and it is an odd number] and He loves odd numbers.
(Muslim, No. 4835)
