Question: Concentrating In Salah
Salaam

When reading Salah I find it quite to concentrate 100% on Salah, even though im reading my mind usually drifts off thinking about something else. I knows its the devil trying to put u off but then he does that all the time. It happens more when reading behind an Imam coz he is reading & ur standing there listening. It there is something to help u fully concentrate on Salah.

Bismihi Ta'ala

A person should think about the day of Judgement in which he will be standing in front of Allah Ta'ala in a similar manner to be questioned about his actions. How shocking and terrifying that moment would be.

Also, a person should avoid watching T.V or listening to Music, as these are the thngs that may distract ones focus whilst in Salaah.

Hadhrat Shaikh, in Fadhaail A'maal, has mentioned a chapter regarding concentration and devotion in Salaah. Therein, he has mentioned some examples of pious Saints, and how they would concentrate, and what they would do in order to concentrate. This would be very useful.
