| Question: Lady not paak & entering room of deceased | |
| if a lady is not paak and is attending a funeral she is not permitted to be in the same room as the deceased, but is she permitted to enter the room briefly to see the face of the deceased? | |

If a lady is not paak and she wishes to just briefly see the deceased persons face and leave the room then she may do so on the condition that the deceased was either her husband or one whom she has a mahramiyyat relationship with, e.g Father, Son, Brother, Granfather. Otherwise, it is not permissible to see the face of a non mahram deceased male, whether paak or not.
