There is nothing wrong in doing Zikr with the left hand. However, doing Zikr with the right hand is a Sunnah of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam).

Abdallah Bin 'Amr Bin al-'As reported, "I saw the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) counting the glorifications of Allah on his right hand's fingers.'' (Tirmidhi)
