Question: namaz during travel
Assalamu Alaikum

I know that during travel you have to perform qasr salah. What i wanted to know is what if there is no space to perform the salah i.e. to stand and perform the salah. for example, a person is on a bus and there is no space to stand and perform the salah or there is space but he will not be able to stand and perform because he will lose his balance, how would a person perform salah in this case?

If the time for Salaah arrives whilst a person is travelling, but his movements are restricted due to circumstances as you have mentioned, then he should perform Salaah in the best possible manner and then make up for it when he becomes capable of performing it correctly.

It is essential to perform Salaah standing as long as it is possible. If it becomes impossible then whilst seated. But as mentioned, once a person becomes fully capable of performing in the correct manner, he would be required to repeat it.
