Question: duaa
Asslamaualaikum,
one of the etiquettes of dua are to do hamd-o-sana of Allah then send blessings to prophet.Which tasbeeh or zikr is considered as praising Allah or can i read anything like
1) la illah illalah wahda la sharika .......complete
2) subhan allahi walhamdolilahi wala illah illalah walao akbar.
3)or just surah al fatiha or ayatul kursi.
or is there anything else that should be read.Does praising Allah in the begginnin of any supplication mean that we can read any tasbeeh or is there any thing specific one has to read?

Bismillaah-ir-Rahmaan-ir-Raheem.

Wa 'Alaykumussalaam wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuh.

There is nothing specific that has to be recited. Any method, language or words used to praise Allaah is sufficient. However, it is best to use words of praise that are mentioned in the Qur'aan and Hadeeth. All three examples of yours meet the criteria, and are fine to start your dua with.

And Allaah Ta'aala knows best.

Wassalaam.
