Question: Pocket Qur'an
Assalamualaykum
I have a (taj company) pocket qUR'AN which you can get in 3 parts, the cover of the qur'an is made out of card and the card cover is covered by a plastic cover. Am i allowed to touch the qur'an without wudhu and am i allowed to keep it in my pocket in a state of being without wudhu?

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

If the Qur'aan cover is connected to the binding then Wudhu is necessary in order to touch the Qur'aan. However, if the cover sleeves taken out of the Qur'aan so that it no longer is "part" of the Qur'aan then one can touch without wudhu.

However, one may put it one's pocket without wudhu, only touching it without Wudhu is forbidden.

A simple example is a Juzdan (Quraan cover), which does not constitute a part of the Qur'aan.
